Thank you for explaining the new format. I came to you via BWTW a few months ago. I have spent many a night on the blogg absorbing as much of the articles that I could. Great stuff and great people. I am a reserved, private person who likes to listen and learn, while mostly keeping my mouth shut. The reason I am responding to you and your members is that I hold this magazine and blogg in high regard. Keep up the good work and be safe.
Respectfully,
Larry L Ferrazzano
I enjoy your publication. The content is not only suitable to our dedicated and honorable military and law enforcement personel, but to concerned American citizens as well. I’d like to provide more of my thoughts later, but specific to your request for feedback on the ‘Letter From The Editor’ section and your proposed 2010 editorial calendar might I suggest the following: Consider the month of June for “Outdoor Enjoyment” and the month of September for “Emergency Preparedness…”. I think June would be the right time to begin thinking about getting outdoors as the Summer months begin; and, having the month of September to discuss emergency preparedness, which would correspond to and align with FEMA’s designation as September being Preparedness Month, with their “Get Ready” campaign. I am a strong advocate for emergency preparedness, since it encourages citizens to become more self-reliant and less dependent on Local, State and particularly Federal government. As an elected official, I do understand the need for government involvement (at several levels) during a major disaster, but I also know first hand government is not to be considered the ultimate savior, but instead faith in God, faith in ourselves and faith in our neighbors and local community is the answer.
Just some introductory thoughts from an elected official that happens to share in your opinions and beliefs.

Thank you both for your comments. Mr. Mayor: It’s truly unique, in my experience, to find an elected politician at any level of government who agrees with my issue stances. Perhaps you should consider a higher position? I know a magazine that would offer some support ;-)
