Having the courage of your convictions means having faith that your beliefs are correct and being willing to stand up and fight, if necessary, to defend them. Certainly it means not hiding them; not being ashamed of them; not fearing that someone might find out about them and be critical of you for them.

Each year as spring approaches the itch starts. By the time the first green starts to sprout the itch if a full-on jones that requires attention. The first feed for the addiction is pulling out all the camping gear, sorting through it, cleaning anything that needs it, repacking it and making it ready.

As I do the news updates each weekday morning I often come across some interesting polls posted on CNN, Fox News or other sites. Two recent ones I came across are the topics of this blog: The first is from USA Today and focuses on the 2nd Amendment. The second is from CNN and focuses on the roll race should play in college admissions.
