And so it begins.  I arrived in Las Vegas late Sunday evening and was up and ready to hit the range this morning (Monday morning the 17th) for Media/Range Day.  Only at such an event could so many people be so festive as they stood about in a dusty arid desert like scrub with only porta-johns for latrines and no refreshment (except for bottled water) available.  Even in such conditions it was like a small party…  well, it was kind of a big party.  Buses were bringing in writers along with all those who drove and the “lunch tent” was no small affair.
