For the most part I agree with you. The biggest misunderstanding I think people have about spanking is why it is done. It should be done because you love your child enough to discipline them. One should never be angry when spanking either.

I would also state that merely because someone uses a paddle or a ruler or any of the other items you listed does not mean abuse. And when people think it does automatically mean abuse those people are simply wrong and uneducated. Unfortunately that is often the way of thinking today.

Abuse is an over or improper use of force instead of an appropriate use in terms of a spanking. If someone spanks their child with a ruler for example with the same force as their hand there is no difference in the spanking other than what actually made contact with the child.

Thanks so much for the review! Just saw these in the lil catalog the NRA sends out and I was wondering about them. I’m a GI, & boots we’re issued are you standard “ankle rollers” and they’re all I’ve ever worn but I need something better. For the price, I think I’m going to have to put them near the top of my list. Great job!
