I recently received another very nice piece of kit from Marz Tactical Gear.  Marz Tactical Gear makes a full line of nylon kit that is produced right here in theUSA.  What they sent me is their Combat Medic Pouch.  Don’t be fooled by the name though.  You don’t need to be a medic to make great use of this piece of kit.  The simplest way to describe the use of this pouch is that it’s a piggy back pouch that holds three rifle magazines and in front of the rifle mags is a large utility pouch. It seems that recently I’m being exposed more and more to the trauma care needs of contemporary warriors. Now, I understand that the first-aid requirements can run from treating a headache to applying a tourniquet on a partially amputated limb. In general, most adults today know how to treat the simple stuff; the stuff you deal with at home growing up and if you’re a parent or guardian for children. What many contemporary warriors aren’t trained to do, and it would greatly impact the number of survived injuries if they did, was treat a few common battle wounds that need not be fatal.
