New American Truth

I could not previously imagine a situation wherein I would consider reviewing food, but here I am. My family and I have recently been checking out different kinds of dehydrated (and otherwise prepared for long term storage) camp food. On our list of “to try” are GoFoods, Mountain House, Coleman and Backpackers Pantry. We have a supply of each and plan to prepare the items to go with our other regular meals, but I had opportunity to try out a food item by myself. One of the items we had was the Mountain House Chili Mac. I (fondly) remember Chili Mac (a mixture of chili and macaroni-and-cheese) from my military days and thought I’d give it a try.
